Himalayan Yoga Academy Program - 8-Day Retreat

Arrival (Day 1)

  • Before 02:00 pm – Check-In; Room Arrange and Rest

  • 03:30 – 04:30 pm – Free Time (Exploration)

  • 05:00 - 05:15 pm – Herbal Tea

  • 05:15 - 06:45 pm – Bhakti Yoga (Prayer/ Chants), Spinal Asana/ Suryanamaskar; Yoga-nidra, Mudra, Dhyana Yoga (Meditation)

  • 07:00 - 07:30 pm – Dinner and Herbal Tea

  • 07:30 - 08:30 pm – Bhakti Yoga (Prayer/Chants), Trataka (Concentrated Gaze), and Discussion

  • 08:30 – 09:45 pm – Evening walk, Vajrasana, Self-study & Practice

  • 10:00 pm – Bed Time (Lights out)

Day 2: Yoga & Sightseeing

  • 06:00 am– Wake up and Ushapan (Early Drinking water)

  • 06:30 - 07:00 am – Jala Neti (Nasal Cleansing) and Herbal Tea

  • 07:00 - 08:45 am – Bhakti Yoga (Prayer/Chants), Warm-up exercise, Suryanamaskar,

  • Yogasana, Bandha, Pranayama, Shanty Path (Peace Mantra)

  • 09:00 - 10:00 am - After breakfast in the morning, we go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. (3 Major Attractions of Kathmandu)

  • After Sightseeing, you will be transferred to Himalayan Yoga Academy.

  • 5:30 – 6: 45 pm: Meditation

  • 7: 00: Dinner

  • 07:30 - 08:30 pm – Bhakti Yoga (Prayer/Chants), Trataka (Concentrated Gaze), and Discussion

  • 08:30 – 09:45 pm – Evening walk, Vajrasana, Self-study & Practice

  • 10:00 pm – Bed Time (Lights out)

Day 3: Transfer to Monastery & Monastery Retreat Starts

  • 06:00 am– Wake up and Ushapan (Early Drinking water)

  • 3:00 -4:00 pm: Silence & Exploration

  • 4:00 -5:00 pm: Monastery Puja

  • 5:00 – 6:00: pm Silence

  • 6:00 – 7:00 pm: Meditation

  • 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Dinner

  • 8:00 - 9: 00 pm: Silent Sitting in Meditation Room:

  • 9:00 -9:30 pm: Meditation Sleep

Day 3 – 6: Monastery

  • 5:00 am: Wake up (ready for Puja)

  • 5:30 am: Puja Ceremony

  • 6:30 am: Tea Break

  • 7 - 7:30 am: Jalaneti

  • 7:30 – 8:45 am: Traditional Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga

  • 9:00 -10:00 am: Breakfast

  • 11:00 - 1:00 pm: Dhamma talk

  • 1:00 -2:00 pm: Lunch

  • 1:00 -2:00 pm: Silence

  • 4:00 -5:00 pm: Monastery

  • 5:00 – 6:00 pm: Silence

  • 6:00 – 7:00 pm Meditation

  • 7:00 pm: Dinner

  • 8:00 – 9:00 pm: Silent Sitting in Meditation Room

  • 9:00 -9:30 pm: Meditation Sleep

Day 7: Transfer to Himalayan Yoga Academy & Relaxation

  • 5:00 am: Wake up (ready for Puja)

  • 5:30 am: Puja Ceremony

  • 6:30 am: Tea Break

  • 7 – 7:30 am: Jalaneti

  • 7:30 – 8:45 am: Traditional Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga

  • 9:00 -10:00 am: Breakfast

  • 10:00 – 1: 00 pm: Transfer to Himalayan Yoga Academy

  • 1:00 – 2:00 pm: Lunch & Rest

  • 2:30 – 3:00 pm: Relaxation Therapy

  • 3:00 – 5:00 pm: Self Exploration Shopping & Recreation

  • 5:00- 5:30 pm: Group Tea

  • 5:30 – 6:45 pm: Retreat Conclusion & Meditation

  • 7:00 – 8:00 pm: Dinner

  • 8:00 – 9:00 pm: Group Talks & farewell Speech

  • 9:00 pm: Lights Out ( Bed )

Day 8: Departure From Himalayan Yoga Academy
